Job Office: Health Care Facilities in Sudbury (PHSD)
Position Status:  casual, Part Time

Schedule:  Variable, approx. 30 hours per month

Summary:

Under the direction of the Facility Coordinator, the Facility Handyman performs manual tasks relating to building maintenance and operations.


Responsabilities:

·  Provide part time support to the site coordinator as scheduled. Provide coverage for the the supervisor in his absence.
·  Carry out general inspections within the facility as required
·  Report on all completed work assignments to the site supervisor.
·  Perform minor repairs as assigned by the site supervisor including patching and painting, tiling, flooring, door hardware, minor plumbing and electrical repairs, (non-energized), carpentry and furniture moves
·  Perform janitorial duties, exterior grounds keeping and manual snow removal tasks as necessary
·  Follows all company & client safety and security procedures
·  Complete other tasks required by the site supervisor. 

Requirements:

·  High School diploma
·  Possess a mechanical aptitude in order to perform repairs and maintenance as required
·  Able to move and lift loads. The candidate needs to satisfy the physical activities of the job
·  Ability to use hand and power tools and other equipment, as necessary, to complete assignments;
·  Able to work flexible shifts – days, afternoon, evenings, weekends, holidays as required
·  Ability to pass all background checks and security screenings;
·  Valid Driver’s License and access to a vehicle;
