ENGIE are recruiting for a Assistant Lifecycle Manager to be based in Manchester. This is a permanent full-time role, working 40 hours per week,  Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm with a 1 hr Lunchtime role . On offer is a salary banding of £23,000 - £28,000, dependent upon skills and experience.

General Overview:

The role of the Assistant Lifecycle Manager is to support the with the management and delivery of lifecyle projects across Manchester, Romford and Roehampton Hospitals. The Assistant Lifecycle Manager will as and when required support the Project Manager in the delivery of non-lifecycle capital projects (variations, ANCs etc).  

They will scope out the high-level plans in line with budgets, condition and lifecycle models. They will work with the customer and to deliver the required lifecycle elements to the estate. They will work within ENGIEs procurement and commercial standards to ensure best value and least risk for ENGIE in all project delivery. They will also support the Project Manager when required to deliver capital projects across the estate.   

Key Responsibilities:

· 
Support and plan rolling programmes to deliver comprehensive planned maintenance and asset lifecycle requirements in line with good industry practice including whole life costing. 

· 
Work with Finance and Commercial to provide a real time view of lifecycle against model.

· 
Supervising contractors, liaising with clients and other departments within the Company during projects where necessary and check and comment on designs and specifications provided by consultants for larger capital projects. 

· 
Let subcontracts to deliver the lifecycle plans in line with ENGIE commercial and procurement standards

· 
Liaison and management of the performance of preferred suppliers/subcontractors to include controlling, scheduling and coordinating sub-contractors working on site, ensuring all Company and on-site procedures are followed such as Inductions, DBS clearance, competence etc. 

· 
Support in the management of  the relationships between the clients, and key stake holders. 

· 
Ensure that works can proceed with the minimum of disruption to building users. 

· 
Prepare, as necessary, specifications and tender documents to complete Lifecycle elements within budget. 

· 
Produce an overall plan for works for the Project to ensure the completion date is achieved and without incident.

· 
Must be self-motivating, able to work on own initiative, liaise effectively with staff operating in a multi-disciplinary environment.

· 
Good organisational skills and the ability to communicate at all levels

Required Qualifications, Skills or Experience:

·  3 yrs + experience in project management of lifecycle works, including the negotiation of lifecycle works subcontractors. 
·  Excellent communication skills
·  To plan, prioritise and allocate work
·  Self disciplined and able to work on own initiative
·  Flexible and adaptable approach to work
·  Experience in a similar role
