The Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) Principal, senior functional subject matter expert who will act independently and advise on or manage the business and functional development for large complex engagements.  He/she will provide subject matter expertise at the highest levels and establish world-class approaches to business process modeling, process reengineering and be the configuration work stream lead on project engagements.  Responsible for facilitating design and planning sessions with the customer, as well as developing, selling, and delivering a portfolio of service offerings focused on Workday solutions.

The Workday HCM Principal Consultant will facilitate high intensity workshops for problem definition, as-is and to-be process modeling, problem solving, and opportunity analysis.

The position is open for all Germany locations.

Key Responsibilities:

·  Lead the business process design, configuration development and implementation of Workday solutions to meet the client's needs (business and configuration lead).
·  Oversee business process and configuration work stream and their day-to-day activities (project lead).
·  Apply strong business skills and methodologies to interpret data, business processes and deliver solutions to clients.
·  Deliver the highest quality and value to our customers; leading to customer relationships that last forever and a profitable growing business for DXC.
·  Exhibit a deep understanding of the Workday products and solutions.
·  Develop and deliver informal presentations to project team and client management.
·  Construct the overall business process transformation roadmap for the client.
·  Identify and assist with the development of service offerings.
·  Participate in business development activities by scoping potential engagements and preparing proposals.
·  Select appropriate tools available to develop and validate business cases including lifetime costing.
·  Shape and influence client attitudes to outcomes and key benefits for both the client and DXC.
·  Identify opportunities for additional business.
·  Plan and lead delivery of workshops and facilitated client events.
·  Lead the implementation of Workday configuration activities.
·  Propose solutions, addressing client business issues and objectives using a combination of DXC standardized and customized services.
·  Shape approach to identifying and managing risks and assumptions and for realizing benefits at a program level.
·  Create proposal describing the DXC solution and the associated value proposition, ensuring knowledge capture sessions are arranged and executed.
·  Apply knowledge of and experience in multiple specializations.
·  Ensure knowledge capture sessions are arranged and executed while building DXC consultant collateral.
·  Develops competencies, collect and manage IP in focused domains.

Education & Experience Required

·  7-10 years HR and or ERP application experience in commercial or public sector. Advanced Educational degree preferred.
·  Workday Certification, with 3+ year’s implementation experience with Workday modules.
·  Solid knowledge of and experience with Workday configuration.
·  Solid knowledge of and experience with Workday tools environment.
·  Experience in mentoring and managing junior or less experienced Workday developers.
·  Excellent client communications skills.
·  Proven ability to analyze business requirements for configuration.
·  Must have participated in multiple implementations.
·  Fluent in German and English.
