Job Description:

·  Regular patching based on contract needs, operational break fix tasks of the operating system:
·  Willing to accept 24 x7 on-call responsibilities for server support
·  Develop implement and deployment plans for infrastructure related projects that affect the organization
·  Install and configure, maintain/upgrade and troubleshoot Windows Physical and Virtual servers, additional
·  Duties will include provisioning, hardening turnover to production, monitoring of Windows Servers.

Day to day operations support for multiple State and Local Healthcare (Medicaid) clients including Virtual private cloud.

Windows Server System Administration tasks:

·  Assist in Windows server hardware maintenance.
·  Coordinate hardware maintenance with application and development teams
·  Utilize common and specialized tools and test equipment
·  Make recommendations for hardware upgrades and research new hardware solutions
·  Maintain physical and logical diagrams of hardware environment.
·  Install/maintain patch, administer and monitor the systems (HPSA, WSUS)
·  Resolve server issues
·  Make recommendations for improvements
·  Assist in application installations
·  Coordinate and implement software maintenance with application teams
·  User administration and management
·  Implement GPO’s
·  Security remediation tasks
·  Knowable of backup and restore technologies and support restores of the environment as needed
·  Support and participate in disaster recovery drills and recovery

  Qualifications:

·  Must have 7+ years of Windows system administration experience in a production environment supporting ITIL functions
·  Microsoft Windows experience, including using including physical and virtual configurations
·  SQL clusters running on Linux node knowledge helpful
·  VMware knowledge
·  AZURE experience
·  HPSA, ESL DDMI, OM HP Service manager (SRA applications) helpful
·  SAN and backup administration experience helpful
·  Basic Networking Knowledge
·  3rd Party vendor products: Autosys, Middleware. Etc.
·  HIPPA and Audit/remediation experience helpful

Hardware:

·  ESX host
·  HP BL series Blade servers
·  HP SAN experience helpful

Software:

·  HP Operations manager OM9 Helpful
·  HP configurations manager (OPSWARE) helpful
·  HP performance Manager Helpful
·  Service manager/Service Center helpful
·  WSUS

Network:

·  TCP/IP, Firewall HPNAS/SAN Experience
