Looking for a highly motivated, hardworking and enthusiastic individual to assist with the development and management of security and compliance initiatives, coordinate external audits, and conduct internal audits of the Privacy and Security, Quality Assurance, and Compliance Program for the Wisconsin MMIS Contract.

This position will assist with implementing the SOC and NIST based compliance program with significant business impact.  

QUALIFICATIONS

·  Performs quality assurance assessments as part of the continuous monitoring program.
·  Strong focus on delivering service quality through the establishment of mature, repeatable and well-documented processes.
·  Support the development and maturation of the NIST 800-53A rev4 FISMA Moderate risk framework.
·  Assist with the development of security/compliance related communications and training curriculum.
·  Monitor on-going regulatory compliance for regulatory controls and engagement in audits; as necessary.
·  Collaborates with peers to optimize processes for both Operations and IT controls.
·  Supports ongoing maintenance of appropriate compliance documentation for operations, applications and systems.
·  Ensures that user community understands and adheres to necessary procedures to maintain quality and compliance.
·  Provides consultation and training to the business units on appropriate control design and operating effectiveness. 
·  Performs audit and assessment of business quality systems, policies and practices to ensure compliance with internal, industry, and client quality standards and requirements for a portion of a customer segment or business area.
·  Executes audit plan using standard audit processes and phases to validate quality requirements; enters and tracks audit results in the appropriate tool.
·  Reviews audit and assessment results to identify trends and issues, perform root-cause analysis, develop recommendations for resolution and track effectiveness of remedies.
·  Investigates and identifies root causes of process performance drivers.
·  Provides the appropriate level of mentoring to create ‘buy in’ from key stakeholders.
·  Acts as a change agent to ensure that Quality Assurance methodologies are being supported and sustained within the organization.
·  Develops and delivers management reports.
·  Serve as an internal consultant, counseling the businesses regarding implementation of quality improvement strategies, measurement, and training.
·  Leads or participates in large, cross-division functional teams or projects that affect the organization’s long-term goals and objectives.
·  Provides mentoring and guidance to increase internal skill levels.
·  Conducts other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

·  Bachelor's Degree and 3 years' experience in IT, Audit, Risk Management, Project Management, or Security related field or 5 years' experience equivalent.
·  Working knowledge of IT Compliance preferred; including HIPAA, NIST 800-53, ISO, SOC, etc.
·  Experience interacting with State and Federal regulators a plus.
·  Audit, Lean Six Sigma certifications or similar training preferred.
·  Healthcare or insurance industry experience is preferred.
·  Full time (40 hours per week).
·  On-site required.
