Role Description

The position of a Mobile Device Management SME is part of DXC Converged Mobility and Workplace Services.

In this role you will be responsible for drafting design and operational documentation related to MDM services such as Airwatch, Intune and others, consulting the customer for application integration and environment extensions.

Responsibilities:

·  Responsible for operations and maintenance of the Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms and develop the design of MDM architecture.
·  Applying expert level knowledge of mobility systems and security to ensure the design and implementation of mobile technology.
·  Responsible for technical strategic guidance for planning and future roadmap of MDM solutions (i.e. Airwatch, Intune, and application layer mobility management controls).
·  Oversees daily Mobility Team operations, e.g. Projects, queue monitoring, metrics monitoring.
·  Oversee, plan and coordinate cross team efforts between the Mobility team, Field Services, VoIP and Network Teams, to ensure scheduling of maintenance and project efforts, establish best practices and standards.
·  Apply Expert level mobile device management knowledge of enterprise mobility systems to solve operational problems and provide continuous maintenance.
·  Leads the creation and maintenance of standards documentation for devices and applications managed by the MDM platform.
·  Leads vendor engagement efforts to remediate incidents.
·  Effectively troubleshoot complex technical issues.
·  Ensure engineered solutions are designed to maintain highest availability and service dependability.
·  Perform root cause analysis of critical outage and incidents, engineer permanent solutions and coordinate implementation.

Requirements:

·  5+ years of relevant experience
·  Expert detailed knowledge in MDM architecture and infrastructure
·  Strong experience with VMware Airwatch  and Intune
·  Strong understanding and background of working with large mobile device management environments operating in a complex Active Directory and PKI infrastructure.
·  Active Directory experience, particularly in a large enterprise environment.
·  Strong scripting skills.
·  Application development skills.
·  Project management experience - taking projects from initial concept through design, development, testing and deployment.
·  Working knowledge of IOS and Android mobile devices
·  Experience in working within an agile environment
·  Proficiency in English. German is a strong distinct advantage
