· Job Description:
Due to the expansion of our office in Asturias, Spain, DXC is searching for an Engineer with expertise on Java Application Server technologies such as WebSphere, WebLogic Suite, JBoss and Tomcat. You will become part of an international team.
Main responsibilities:
· The candidate, Middleware Engineer will help design, architect, develop, and implement features requested by our clients.
· Project Planning and delivering major portions of implementation which include creation of project documentation such as Statement of Work, Build Document, Test & etc.
· Work with Project Managers to manage expectation and timelines.
· Work closely with vendors to address, track, execute and ensure proper closure of system support.
· Work Closely with our DXC Solution Architect
· Work in Deployment Automation for Middleware and application components with proper DEVOPS integration
· On call duty 24/7 for L3 incident support
· Help troubleshooting with middleware software, connectivity, application behavior, etc, from infrastructure point of view.
Education And Experience Required:
· Diploma in IT or equivalent with minimum 3 years of relevant experience in implementing enterprise Middleware solutions.
· Medium skills with UNIX and Linux operating systems; basic skills with Wintel systems.
· Self-motivated, dynamic, proactive & customer-oriented attitude to be able to work on tight schedule.
· Excellent verbal / written communication and interpersonal skills.
· High level of read/written technical English.
Knowledge And Skills:
· WebSphere Application Server (7.*;8.*,9.*).
· WebLogic Server (12.*, 11.*, 10.*).
· Oracle Service Bus (12.*, 11.*, 10.*).
· Jboss, JBoss EAP (6.*,7.*).
· Tomcat (7.*,8.*,9.*).
· DEVOPS Integration Tools basic knowledge (Jenkins, Jira, Bitbucket, Nexus, Bamboo,..).
· Scripting (shell, perl, phyton, jacl, jython, Ansible).
· Dockers and Kubernetes basic knowledge.
· Monitoring Tools basic knowledge (eg Dynatrace).
