Background

We require an IIS/SharePoint IT Pro/Engineer to join our project environment and squads.

Role Description

This role is suitable for an IT Pro engineer with excellent SharePoint implementation, migration, and support experience.

Overall Role Purpose

Working in a multi skilled, self-organising squad, providing SharePoint expert support and SME advice..

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

·  Perform project work involving building and migrating SharePoint farms and data
·  Perform project work consisting of installation and configuration of products.
·  Provide SME solution design, critical problem areas, training and related areas to junior member of the squad.

·  Managing and building of SharePoint environments
·  Migration of SharePoint Data
·  Self-Development
·  Mentoring of Junior Staff
·  Adhering to internal business processes

Key Attributes

·  Excellent computer knowledge/skill including MS Operating Systems
·  Excellent understanding of Microsoft web technologies including IIS and SharePoint
·  Excellent knowledge of SharePoint data migration using built-in or 3rd party tools e.g. Metalogix Content Matrix
·  Excellent knowledge of Powershell, and SharePoint workflows
·  Excellent understanding of computer networkingVPNsSSL, security, install and configuration processes, typical SharePoint architectures and topologies, PKI, federation (ADFS), identity management, active directory, Office 365, web technologies (HTML, CSS, javascript).
·  Knowledge of Github, spfx, Devops and Agile.
·  Knowledge of cloud services such as Azure and AWS
·  Excellent communication skills
·  Team player and innovator
·  Willing to mentor junior staff
·  Ability to problem solve in complex scenarios under pressure
·  Actively seeks out and learns new technology skills
