Danone North America is looking for a Materials Analyst, NY in White Plains.

Responsible for material call offs for specified materials to support finished goods production plans, minimize obsolescence and provide overall cost containment.

·  Responsible for material call offs for specified materials to support finished goods production plans.
·  Responsibility to ensure adequate materials are on site to support production schedules.
·  Assist in maintaining MRP system. Conduct regular consistent reviews in conjunction with material planner of all parameters and update based on new criteria.
·  Participate in material planning meetings with suppliers
·  Execute packaging run out plans to support material planners with focus on minimizing obsolescence with zero impact to production schedules.
·  Lead for assigned production facility to assist in material warehousing strategies and analyses.
·  Assist with tracking and reporting of key KPIs – obsolescence, supplier inventory levels, DIO, service.

Education and Experience (Requirements):

Bachelor’s Degree

1 to 3 years supply chain experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

·  Demonstrated understanding of supply chain processes and safety stock optimization strategies.
·  SAP/APO knowledge a plus.
·  APICS certification desired
·  Strong project management/organization skills.
·  Success in problem solving and critical thinking
·  Achieve results effectively
·  Anticipates and is proactive.
·  Passion for excellence.
