Danone North America is looking for a Human Resource Generalist - Dallas in our Dallas, Texas manufacturing facility.

Position Summary

The Human Resources Generalist will build and support the people capabilities in the organization utilizing HR knowledge. This role will drive and implement HR initiatives to increase organizational effectiveness, including supporting onboarding of new employees, talent development and performance management, employee engagement, and administration of various people processes and programs.

Responsibilities:

·  Ensure fair and consistent administration of all human resources policies and practices
·  Administration and implementation of communications programs to increase employee engagement and morale
·  Supports positive employee morale through strong employee engagement
·  Leads/supports positive employee relations/engagement initiatives by supporting facility, corporate, and community relations activities (Employee service awards, Engagement Surveys, Danone Day, Family Day, etc.)
·  Provide training and development to managers and supervisors on policy, practices, and leadership skills
·  Assists in developing and implementing local policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Corporate Ethics and Compliance procedures
·  Assists in the delivery and administration of training programs to develop associate capabilities
·  Supports plant continuous improvement initiatives
·  Responsible for compliance with appropriate records and reports
·  Supports new hire onboarding processes
·  Partners with Employee Shared Services on various activities including: Hires, Transfers, Promotions, Separations, Retirements, Disability, FMLA, etc.
·  Conducts employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling, and exit interviews
·  Partners with facility leadership to ensure performance standards are being consistently upheld, through the Performance Management Process, for both hourly and salary groups
·  Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment
·  Maintains accurate records within Human Resources system and compile reports from database
·  Ensures that all HR administrative functions are handled in an accurate and timely manner
·  Performs other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience

·  Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business or related field
·  5+ years of experience in human resources performing asa generalist, ideally in a 24/7 manufacturing environment
·  Prior experience in labor relations, preferred.
·  Knowledge of Federal and State laws (EEO, ADA, FMLA, etc.), practices and procedures
·  Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills with focus on incorporating opportunities for continuous improvement
·  Strong interpersonal and communication skills to include excellent oral & written communication and follow-up skills
·  Strong sense of urgency with the ability handle fast-paced, rapidly-changing environment
·  Knowledge of compensation principles and practices
·  Strong business acumen with skills in influencing and persuasion
·  Strong interpersonal skills associated with developing trusting relationships
·  Strong investigation and conflict resolution skills
·  Must be able to adjust schedule to meet the demands of the facility
·  High level of comfort in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), time keeping systems, and HRIS
