Poste et missions:

As part of the automation engineering group you will work in collaboration with the team in charge of developments of supervisory control systems for the gypsum and insulation activities of Saint-Gobain worldwide.

You will be responsible for working on the development and configuration of scada and historian systems for Gypsum plants and Insulation plants.

You will be located in East Leake, Loughborough, Leicestershire.

Main Responsibilities:

You will work on a project consisting in the development of a web application programming in an industrial environment

The software tools that you will have to use will be Ignition (from Inductive automation) and/or Siemens WinCC. You will have to develop some scripts in python and/or VBScript. The application will be interfaced with Siemens PLCs and SQL databases. It will have to be developed for windows based office computers as well as for mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets.

You will work in collaboration with a team of software engineers and process engineers.

Once the development phase is complete you will be required to deploy the application in several production units of the Saint-Gobain group.

Profil:
We are looking for an Automation Engineer or Industrial Computer Scientist with Scada system programming skills : Siemens WinCC or Inductive Automation Ignition. Technical knowledge of several programming languages: C, Java, Python.
