RESPONSIBILITIES

You will have the following missions:

- Support trading team on day-to-day operations (outside of trade execution)
- Maintain and improve existing spreadsheets and tools used by the desk
- Develop on specific products a deep understanding and knowledge of parameters impact on pricing
- Develop new products and strategies under the lead of a senior trader
- Look at the risk systems and tools, and understand book deformations
- Establish good relationships with sales and structuring departments

The VIE assignment in a nutshell

This VIE in Hong Kong is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information, please see www.civiweb.com

PROFILE REQUIRED

You are graduated with a Master degree from Engineering or Business School or University with a specialization in Finance, Economics, Engineering or similar

Ideally you have past experience in a trading floor environment

You are fluent in English

You are proficient in Microsoft Office application (Excel, powerpoint) and have good coding skills in VBA and/or Python

You have a proven analytical, computer and interpersonal skills as well as exceptional writing, communication and presentations skills

You are strong team player who can demonstrate creativity and initiative

You have a strong interest in financial markets and understanding of complex products

Trading Team is in charge of executing equity derivatives trades on behalf of clients, and risk managing the resulting exposure on the banks’ trading books. The VIE candidate will cover all equity derivatives products, with a specific focus on exotic options. By nature of the trades, the VIE will also have to familiarize with secondary position risks on the following asset classes: (Rates, Credit, Foreign exchange)
