This is an exciting opportunity for a VIE to support key Supply Chain Improvement Projects across a variety of topics involving working across the UK and European organisation and with several different functions, including commodities, quality, engineering amongst others.

The individual will also gain experience in an operational role similar to the Supply Operations Manager position.

The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) program is an international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function.

We are looking for highly motivated graduates aged 21 to 28 years, who are citizens of the European Union (all E.U. nationals, plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein). This is an exciting opportunity for a VIE to support key Supply Chain Improvement Projects across a variety of topics involving working across the UK and European organisation and with several different functions, including commodities, quality, engineering amongst others.

The individual will also gain experience in an operational role similar to the Supply Operations Manager position.

Some of the projects may include:

•Risk identification and mitigation at the early stages of the Sourcing process.
•I.T. – KPI tool modification and implementation
•Value Stream management exercise to identify improvement opportunities for the supply chain performance.
•Review the functions current Governance model and propose and help implement improvement actions.

This will enable significant personal development in technical knowledge, supply chain skills and project management experience.

Degree in Supply Chain Management or Business

Able to build robust relationships with all stakeholders

Able to work autonomously and with determination

Someone who has very good I.T. skills and has experience with various tools i.e. excel (pivot tables); powerpoint; project management tools etc.
