Angola is a major hub for offshore operations and therefore a key market for Cold Pad.
COLD PAD and its local partner OAP (http://ocean-atlantic.net/) have delivered a few local projects there including a major achievement that was concluded by the TOTAL BEST INNOVATOR 2019 and >300MUSD of savings.
We now want to build on those success and develop that market.

This is the reason why COLD PAD is looking for a Business Development Engineer in Luanda to promote a set of proprietary cold work solutions.

The Business Development Engineer will be in charge of:
• Secure new business opportunities in Angola
• Follow up existing clients and ensure client satisfaction
• Single point of contact for all commercial activities with Angolan customers
• Identify new prospects and markets in Angola
• Facilitate the interface between French teams and Angolan teams during project execution.
The candidate will work hand in hand with the execution manager for client satisfaction
• Fill in and update CRM (customer relation management) tool on a daily basis and participate to weekly calls with French HQ
• Define annual sales budget and report on a monthly basis
• Be knowledgeable with all aspects of the scopes both technically and commercially s.
• Follow commercial opportunities and manage the overall bidding process to deliver complete Operations and Commercial proposal to customers.
• Evaluate sales issues / problems and identify solutions to meet productivity, quality and customer goals.
• Follow Company policies, procedures and methodologies.
• Conduct market research to understand the Company's customer universe and products / services offered in the Angolan market.
• Define the marketing goals and targets audience for the Company's business, such as: Metrics and results, Commercial campaigns, Customer satisfaction, Competing companies.
• Search for public tenders and subsequently prepare documentation, binding, organization and delivery.
• Invoice payment follow up with local clients and accounting teams
• In charge of contracts negotiation with the support of the French and Angolan teams.
• Assist with planning scheduling and resource management.
The candidate will follow 2 to 3-month (CDD) training in Paris before moving in Luanda, Angola.

Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, Word and ERP Knowledge
Fluent language skills, both verbal and written, for the main language (French/English) and Portuguese as a bonus.
Knowledge / Experience:

You have a master’s degree (Engineering or Sciences, Business or equivalent +5 years)
