Position Description
Seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support Information Technology (IT) initiatives in healthcare and federal grants arena. The initiatives include Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to enable organizations to operate and maintain enterprise systems in response to various legislative, policy, management, and technology changes. The outcomes enable the organization to strengthen its program management and operations in support of its mission to improve and achieve health equity.

Your future duties and responsibilities
The Senior Software Engineer provides support to in maintaining existing code base and issue fixing for HRSA EHBs systems and sub-systems. Specific responsibilities include.

• Oversee a team of software developers and testers to achieve the delivery of project commitments.
• Work with your team leads, architects, product managers, and other teams to take ideas through all phases of the projects.
• Creates schedules and work plans. Participates in long-range planning and development of operational goals and engineering specifications.
• Develops functional processes and operational policies within the area managed. Responsible for implementing operational and strategic policies and directives.
• Shares information with related groups/projects.
• Provides operating systems planning and evaluation for performance analysis, capacity planning, and hardware upgrades.
• Interfaces with other groups to resolve user problems, setting standards, and improving overall efficiency of the operating system.
• Provides innovative solutions to complex problems, and communicates progress toward project/program goals.
• Work with the development teams to identify, define, measure, analyze, implement and control Applied Technology projects. Perform high-level technical analysis activities, such as requirements gathering and gap analysis of user requirements.
• Develop metrics to help operations track and value improvement projects.
• Responsible for technical deliverables during the entire lifecycle of technology projects
• Work with requirements lead to manage iteration scope, maintains solution architecture artifacts, organizes and manages weekly technical team meetings

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Proficiency in .net 4.6, .net core, C # , MS ASP.net , ASP.net MVC , ASP.net MVP, Web 2.0
• Web Services, sql , mysql, sql server 2012 – 2016, MS LINQ webforms MVP
• Angular JS,
• TFS, SharePoint, Value Injector, Nunit,
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Must demonstrate experience with federal grants lifecycle and business processes reengineering.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
