Position Description
Experienced professional with well developed, proficient knowledge and skills in Applications Development. Operational in focus, may instruct or coach other professionals. Develops applications solutions from established programming languages and source code. Recommends improvement to existing applications using engineering releases and utilities.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Mobile Test Automation with Appium
• Expertise in Mobile automation testing native applications - Proven hands-on experience with Appium- Experience having automated in an Agile environment.- Should have working knowledge on Continuous Integration (Jenkins)- Should have 3-5 yrs experience in testing and at least 1+ yrs in Appium Good to Have :- Experience working and automating in REST APIs based WS environment- Strong knowledge on current automation trends- Knowledge of Performance testing on mobile applications Roles & responsibilities :- Should automate the test suite of mobile test cases- Work with automation team to incorporate the mobile automation into existing automation framework- Help team set-up robust mobile test environments
• Total Exp – 6-9 Years
• Location - Bangalore
• Experience in working on software projects with deadlines.
• Experience with TestNG.
• Experience in Mobile Automation testing using Appium.
• Good experience in test design techniques for black box testing.
• Good experience in Defect life-cycle and Defect logging.
• Good experience in testing/creating SQL queries
• Good communication and analytical skills.
Roles And Responsibilities
• Design and create test conditions and scripts to address business and technical use cases
• Execute and analysis automation test results.
• Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution.
• Provide estimates for test activities.
• Automating web applications using Selenium with Java/python.
• Positive attitude and willing to learn. Should be stable in jobs.

• 8+ Years in Automation Testing using Selenium Java/Python [ Relevant Experience]
• Excellent Programming / Scripting Skills in Java Or Python or C# mandatory
• Exposure to API Automation and/or mobile test automation is a big plus
• Strong skills on database
• Experience in Unix/Linux scripting is a big plus
• At least one domain expertise(HRMS)
• 7 Provide team leadership and coaching
- Will have subject matter expertise in the delivery area/function
- Create an environment oriented to trust, open communication, creative thinking, and cohesive team effort
- Provide the team with a vision of the delivery objectives
• Familiarize the team with the customer needs, specifications, design targets, the development process, design standards, techniques and tools to support task performance
- Motivate and inspire team members
- Coach and help develop team members;
- Facilitate problem solving and collaboration
- Ensure discussions and decisions lead toward closure
- Intervene when necessary to aid the group in resolving issues
- Assure that the team members have the necessary education and training to effectively participate on the team
- Recognize and celebrate team and individual’s accomplishments and exceptional performance
- Day to Day Testing Activities
- Testing Delivery in line with client expectations
- Track and report progress against milestones
- Identify Training requirements and forward it to the Test Manager / Delivery Manager (Technical and Soft skills)
- Attend weekly delivery lead meeting
- Knowledge of test management tools; TFS, JIRA, HP ALM, HP QC etc.
- Knowledge of automation tools; Selenium, Webdriver, QTP, EggPlant, Ranorex, SoapUI etc.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools; JMeter, LoadRunner, BlazeMeter, NeuStar etc.
- Identify risks associated with testing, taking preventative action if risks become unacceptable.
- Produce proof of concepts for performance and automation testing.
- Hands on experience with automation frameworks like Keyword Defined Framework, Data Defined framework, Hybrid, BDD. Ability to setup frameworks from scratch. Modify set frameworks. Explain framework to automation testers
- Framework working knowledge. e.g. KDT, DD, BDD, Hybrid.
