Jr. Solutions Architect

Position Description
CGI is seeking a Jr. Solution Architect who can provide both technical Solution Architecture and pre-sales engagement expertise in support of our CGI’s US based clients. Working with a wide variety of client across all industry verticals within the US provides a diverse and rewarding experience.

Your future duties and responsibilities
Jr. Solution Architect who can provide both technical Solution Architecture and pre-sales engagement expertise in support of our CGI’s US based clients. Working with a wide variety of client across all industry verticals within the US provides a diverse and rewarding experience.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Strength in use of Microsoft Office productivity tools; including, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• General understanding of IT products and related support tools
• IT Domain expertise in at least one area
• General understanding of IT Service Management best practices
• General understanding of concepts related to IT Services contractual pricing
• General understanding of concepts related to IT Services contract management

Preference is for candidates that have experience relating to one or more of the following areas:
• Infrastructure Architecture
• AWS and/or Azure cloud components and architectures
• DevOPS
• IT Outsourcing
• Cloud Migrations
• Complex IT Transformations
• Solution architecture
• Deal pursuit / pricing support

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated team-player who is able to work alongside teams and also have the drive to work independently. You will show a flair for creative and innovative solutions to difficult problems. You will need an understanding of IT service management tools and technique. You will demonstrate excellent communication skills with the eventual goal to be able to discuss and present complex technical information to colleagues and clients at different levels of technical competence.

• Bachelors degree required in a relevant field (i.e.: Business Majors to include Finance, Accounting, Management Information Systems, IS/IT, Engineering, and other majors that include consulting and technology coursework)
