ETL Informatica Developer

Position Description
CGI is hiring an ETL Informatica Developer for an exciting new project within our Banking group in Pittsburgh, PA.

As an ETL Informatica Developer, you should have 6+ years of experience and act as an SME to our team in the plan, design, and delivery of BI and Data Warehouse solutions

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Review architectures and recommend options and deliver POC’s.
• Advise on the application of standards/methodology practices to the project
• Work in an Agile environment and adapt to the changing needs and requirements of the business.
• Produce high quality code, following and recommending best practices

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
General:
• Strong collaboration and communication skills within distributed project teams.
• Experience with Agile Methodology
• Team Oriented and can work independently.

Must Have Technical Skills:
• Minimum 6+ years of ETL-Informatica experience using variety of Databases.
• Act as SME to team in the plan, design, and delivery of BI and Data Warehouse solutions
• Create complex data loading processes for Operational Data Stores, Data Warehouses and Data Marts that satisfy all functional and technical requirements.
• Responsible for extracting data from various sources, transforming the data as required, and loading it to various target (ETL) database(s) and/or structures
• Analyze and review complex object and data models and the metadata repository in order to structure processes and data for accuracy, efficiency, and maintainability
• Work with various levels of project managers, data modelers, DBAs, and system administrators to design load processes and identify potential problem areas.
• Collaborate with the Data Architect to understand, interpret, and implement complex data integration requirements.
• Strong Documentation skills
• Strong Data Analysis skill using SQL
• Develop Process flow diagrams

Education: BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, related IT field or equivalent combination of experience and education
