Business Analyst

Position Description
CGI is looking for a Business Analyst with an emphasis on Medicare Advantage Risk Adjustment skills to support a large CMS healthcare program. The project utilizes rapid design and development techniques in an Safe© Agile environment to respond to client demands for meeting the challenges of government healthcare directives. The successful candidate will interface with clients and teams to create business requirements and user stories, and perform analysis throughout the Agile lifecycle.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Review of Business requirements. Work with customers to identify, define, and document clients’ business needs and requirements
• Produce concise, accurate requirements documentation, user stories, acceptance test criteria
• Evaluate Diagnosis and Encounter data
• Evaluate output from risk adjustment modelling runs
• Adhere to best practices and established processes using Confluence and Jira

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• 3+ years of Business Analysis experience; Health IT experience preferred
• Strong analytical skills and innovative thinking
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Comfortable working in a client-facing position supporting backlog grooming sessions, requirements review, product demonstrations
• Ability to plan work efficiently to meet product owner goals and be able to adapt to changes in prioritization
• Ability to work as part of a team and complete assignments in a timely manner

Desired Experience:
• Experience with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Medicare Advantage organizations
• Medicare Advantage risk adjustment skills
• Statistical modelling
• Experience with SAS
• Agile Practitioner
• Familiar with Jira and Confluence

Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
