Project Deputy Commercial Manager  
In Marcq-en-Barœul (France, 59) , in London (UK) or in Bristol (UK)
 
Your challenge alongside us :  
 
In the Frame of large scale Nuclear Project Hinkley Point C, we are hiring in our dynamic Project Core Team a Project Deputy Commercial Manager.
As Deputy Commercial Manager, you second the Commercial Director by leading the following activities:
- Identify the Project Risks and develop a meaningful communication towards the Client in compliance with NEC contract standards ;
- Liaise with the Project Risks Manager to ensure a perfect visibility to our client and a diligent mitigation of identified Project risks ;
- Work daily with the client to discuss the compensation events quotes ;
- In a forensic mode with the appropriate workstream leader, develop and prepare robust claims dossiers ;
- Maintain a solid and respectful relationship based on trust with the client ;
- Create a solid relationship with Project department leaders (periodic commutes to Lille-France shall be anticipated) ;
- Maintain at all time up to date project registers, Events, Risks, Compensation Events and Claims.
 
The Ideal Profile ?
 
You hold a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field from an accredited university. You possess robust analytical and numerical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
 
You bring over a decade of experience in overseeing large-scale construction projects, with a preference for experience in the nuclear sector.
 
Your track record includes demonstrated proficiency in handling NEC or FIDIC contract types.
 
You have proven experience in Claims file preparation for Costs impacts and Extension of Time.
 
Proficiency with the Office365 suite is essential, particularly in MSExcel and MSPowerPoint.
 
Given our international context, your interpersonal skills enable effective collaboration with French team members.
