Working student Business Support (m/f/d)

Job description

In the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region, we ensure that a consistent local approach is adopted in the various countries. To achieve this, we communicate with the relevant corporate divisions and contribute our regional expertise. We work with mature markets just as much as developing markets and either support the established companies there or promote our business in emerging markets.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Get to know the work of our Business Support team and assist them in supporting various systems that are used globally at BASF. Therefore we are looking for you as a working student for 20h per week with immediate effect.

·  You will help to support the end users from the technical training, to assign system authorizations and to answer questions about the system application.
·  You will support incident, change and crisis management, communicate between end users and developers, conduct user acceptance tests and document solution approaches.
·  For quality assurance, you will undertake regular monitoring.
·  You will take an active role in planning and executing small internal projects.
·  You will proactively share your ideas with the team for continuous development and optimization of processes.

QUALIFICATIONS

·  Bachelor or Master student of Computer Science, Business Informatics or comparable
·  Technical affinity
·  Interest in HR topics
·  Very good knowledge of English, good knowledge of German is an advantage
·  Secure handling of MS Office applications
·  Independent working method and initiative
