Job description
General responsibilities:
EHS and Information protection:
· Live and promote "we never compromise on safety". Follow all environment, health and safety related precautions
· Business related information and documents should be protected against misuse or loss by appropriate Information protection measures
Compliance and Code of Conduct:
· Actively represent BASF Group interests and act as a role model with regards to Compliance and Code of conduct, ensure adherence to legal regulations and the company’s internal guidelines as well CORE values and principles.
Strategy related focus:
· Be aware and support the implementation of the company strategies (both Global and Regional level) within one’s scope of responsibility
M ain Tasks
· Support of MD/CCH Head
· Responsible for effective time-management of MD in prioritizing meetings and tasks to make best use out of MD's time
· Responsible for co-ordination of business trips of MD and VIP visitors. Co-operate with other internal and external offices /assistants along the MD's and VIP's schedules. Steering of Facility Management resources for relevant internal and external arrangements
· Follow up with internal and external contacts including active reminders on deliverables according to MD's tasks and projects
· Standard reporting and preparation of presentations and meeting minutes on request of management
· Planning and maintaining calendar: schedule and fix executive meetings; manage and coordinate travel managements
· Independently carrying out all necessary organizational tasks
· Apply BASF Group guidelines and principles
· Act as communication specially for event planning
· Responsible for MD's "master slides" on business, organisation and projects in the country. Confidentially handle data and information, Co-operate with Sales, Controlling and all other functional departments to keep the "master slides" updated.
· Accountable for projects assigned by the CCH
· Support CCH with business & industry analyses
· Accountable and responsible for the preparation of the monthly management report
· Bottom-up Sales forecasting and with delegation from the CCH act as a sparring partner with the sales community
· Consolidate growth opportunities and creation of the opportunity funnel with both GO’s & MBOs, with delegation from the CCH challenge the sales community on missed opportunities
· Commercial assistant with preparing and moderating Sales meetings, sales reports, etc., coordinating meetings in absence of CCH.
M inimum Education and Qualification Required for the Position
Education: Education & training required
plus additional time-extensive job-related training including formal examination (e.g. PhD, BS - MS, MBA)
· Bachelor s degree in relevant majors
Working Experience:
· At least 2 years’ experience in managing a similar role is a must.
Technical & Professional Knowledge:
IT skills:
· Excellent knowledge of MS Office Applications
Language skills (level):
· English (fluent)
