Agronomist in Data Management with focus on North and South America (m/f/d)

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a candidate to join our Agricultural Solutions Expert Services team as soon as possible and ensure the availability of our agronomic data for BASF Crop Protection as well as supporting us in introducing new digital solutions in our day-to-day work.

·  You will be one of the first users of our new systems and databases, which allow the Agricultural Solutions unit to provide product-specific data on a global basis with a strong focus on the North and South American Market.
·  With your sound knowledge of crops specifically about North / South America you support our international project team and take your own responsibility in realizing our digitization strategy.
·  Together with experts from different teams, you will gather necessary information and incorporate it into the new data system after appropriate preparation.
·  You also have the flexibility to support our team with activities such as preparing registration documents, data entry or reporting as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

·  completed degree (B.Sc. / M.Sc.) in Agronomy, Crop Science, Biology or comparable area
·  first experience in the agricultural area / farming or sound knowledge about the customer demands in the agricultural industry
·  high affinity for IT and interest in the field of electronic data processing
·  rapid grasp of new information and proactive way of working
·  excellent English language skills, ideally basic German language skills
