Position supports 24X7 production control batch monitoring. Using standard industry automated scheduling tools (Control-M, CA7, CA-Workload Automation, and OPCON).
Clients include critical domestic only accounts. (State of Georgia, City of San Diego, Noridian, BuckTBO, and multiple Conduent clients).
Requirements include providing job monitoring, notification, Job restarts, override restarts, satisfying ad-hoc request, DR exercise support, and JCL edits when required.

 

 

Requirements:

·  Candidate should have a minimum of 7 or more years mainframe production batch monitoring experience.   
·  Candidate must have proficient working knowledge of Scheduling tools, both in mainframe and mid-range environments ( Control-M, CA-7, CA-workstations automation, Job-Trac, and others )  
·  Shift position with rotation that includes weekends.  
·  Day shift position 6am-6pm (no shift pay compensation),(additional hours required for coverage of opposite shift during vacation time O/T) 

Candidate must have good to proficient skill sets in the following areas: 
 • Manage batch monitoring tools across multiple environments. 
 • Knowledge of scheduling concepts and job dependency processing
 • Good verbal communications that produces positive feedback for its quality  
 • Good written communications skills used for ticketing events and creating documentation used by the group
 * Manage changes and task to insure SLA targets are reached 
 • Proficient skills and experience with Software tools: TSO, SDSF, XPTR, CA-Deliver, CA-View, VPS, and others.… 
 • OPSMVS, AFOPER, or others automation tools a plus
 • IOC concepts, Netcool, and/or CA-Automation point console tools a plus
 * Experienced with ticketing tools and basic problem management processes
 * Ability to provide mentoring and coaching support to offshore resources

 50% onsite required at Atos Irving Texas Reginal Headquarters / 50% remote work if desired. Able to work day shift, 6am-6pm rotating shift.
