Summary of Role

 

The Mobile & Client System Specialist will be supporting the Mobile and Client Computing team to enhance security solutions and configurations with customer experience/productivity in mind. This person will work closely with the Information Security partners to understand the current and future threat vectors. This role would be responsible for monitoring and administrating endpoint security tools to inform Service Manager and team on what is critical to maintain a safe and secure computing environment. They will be responsible for developing solutions to reduce manual efforts and initiating the remediation efforts to bring endpoints within security and service delivery standards.

 

Responsibilities and Skills Required:

 

·  Experienced in Windows 10, iOS, Android, and MacOS operating systems on various hardware form factors
·  Monitor and administer security tools such as Antivirus, Tanium, InTune/AutoPilot, Jamf, Policies, etc. to improve the health of all mobile and client platforms, and meet requirements established by service delivery standards
·  PowerShell scripting to automate remediation efforts before T1 & T2 initiate manual remediation
·  Build positive relationships with Information Security partners and Service Delivery teams
·  Report data, communicate, and educate teams on the overall security and health of our endpoints
·  Coordination with Service Manager and Service Engineer to determine priorities and processes
·  Coordination and communication with customers to ensure best user experience
·  Develop KB’s and technical documentation for Service Desk 
·  Manage and track device refreshes and application requests with Service Delivery team and customers 
·  Supporting the Mobile & Client ticket support queue

 

Certifications Preferred:

·  CompTIA (or similar) certifications are preferred such as A+, Security+, and Network+
·  Microsoft certifications are preferred such as MTA, MCSA, and MCSE
