REMUNERATION MENSUELLE :2035€ (indemnité non contractuelle fixée par décret et arrêté, dont le montant peut varier notamment en
fonction de l’évolution du barème de référence, de la localisation de la mission et des cas d’abattements prévus par les textes)

Aperam is a leading global stainless steel producer headquartered in Luxembourg. In order to support the transformation of our organization and our Legal team, we are currently recruiting a Legal Counsel in a VIE contract.

Main Responsibilities

In this role, you will be working on the following subjects:

IT CONTRACTS : (Purchasing (IT lead Buyer) and IT teams)
- Prepare and draft, in a pragmatic manner, all types of IT services contracts, including software license agreements, Cloud/SaaS and services agreements, while actively collaborating with the financial and purchasing / IT teams
- Participate in the analysis of IT contracts with external suppliers in order to determine their compliance and the conditions of sub-license, integration into global products, etc.
- Manage any ad hoc legal searches on this topic
Support any pre-litigious our litigious relations with IT providers
- Draft IT template agreements
- Train IT community (IT & purchasing team)
- Support IT business owner to follow the execution of IT contracts
- Legal watch on IT contracts law & Court decisions

INNOVATION : (Purchasing and CTO teams)
- Draft / review of NDA template for Innovation - support to implementation of Innovation Guidelines
- Support to build appropriate legal scheme for innovative project
- Support any pre-litigious our litigious relations with IT providers for innovation
- Support TCO business owner to follow the execution of contracts

DATA PRIVACY Lawyer : support to Aperam GDPR Program under the supervision of our GDPR expert lawyer & DPO
- Draft and negotiate data processing agreements;
- Support responses to data subject requests and supervisory authority queries;
- Maintain the current Data Protection awareness programme and continue the development of data privacy framework;
- Deliver employee Data Protection training and continually review training programmes to ensure alignment with requirements.
- Work closely with the Information Security and IT departments to ensure that Data Protection requirements are incorporated into existing and new IT projects;
- Maintain and develop Data Protection structures, policies, procedures and internal records/registers and implement updates where necessary in accordance with legal requirements and industry best practice;
- Provide practical guidance and advice internally on Data Protection queries.

Profile:
- You hold a Master's Degree in Law;
- You are IT-literate, able to adapt to new technologies and collaborative tools;
- You think globally and like to work in an international environment, dealing with issues in different countries (mainly Europe and South America);
- You are able to manage a large number and variety of projects and working autonomously;
- You are a customer-oriented and a proactive team player able to work collaboratively in cross-functional groups;
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong relationships with key stakeholders (in particular with non lawyers)
- You are fluent in English and French
