As Business Intelligence Working Student you will support our Marketplace business. The working time is up to 20 hours / week for a period of 9-12 months.

You have a passion for using data in order to drive business decisions. You are keen to improve current reporting solutions or innovate by creating new and simpler ones and provide Finance and the Marketplace business with robust automated insight. You thrive at analyzing and modelling very large data sets, diving below the surface to identify the root cause and the “so what” rather than just superficial trends. You love participating in cross-functional projects that will directly impact the commercial performance of the business.

Job Responsibilities include:
· Pull large data sets from Redshift databases for ad-hoc analysis using SQL.
· Analyze large data sets using various analytical tools (MS Excel / Tableau / R / Python).
· Build reports and dashboards in Tableau or other visualization software.
· Perform data validation, cross checks and plausibility checks.
· Recognize patterns in the data and dig deep into anomalies.
· Collaborate with Data Science and Engineering teams.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· You are at least in the third semester of your Bachelor's degree or your Master's program
· You have analytical and quantitative skills with an ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and concepts
· You are proficient in SQL and Excel, preferably with hands on experience from business environment.
· You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
· You have a passion for big data and are curious to always dig deep into data to uncover patterns.
· You are self-driven and motivated to learn and explore.
· You love solving problems and have great communication skills.
