The Global Workday Content team owns the HR self-service strategy and ensures a consistent global user experience for all Amazon employees in Workday. We are a dynamic and diverse team with members in several different countries. We help to enable employee self-sufficiency by providing simple, intuitive tools with personalized content that can be accessed anywhere, by any device. We use a variety of data sources to better understand customer needs and partner with global shared service teams to develop self-service solutions to help HR create a world-class experience for employees.

You are highly collaborative, with a strong record of influencing outcomes and proposing well-informed new directions. You will utilize your unique knowledge and talent to drive actionable insights that help guide decisions as we create engaging, beautiful, and customer-focused experiences to support the Workday migration.
Key responsibilities
You will be responsible for authoring content specific to HR and work with local subject matter experts (SMEs) as needed. You will use our team style guide to create unparalleled global English content that is ready for localization to an international audience. You’ll use your technical background to enable easy interaction with developers; and you have a demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality technical documentation that helps customers.

In addition, you will:
· Support scaling of your expertise through collaboration, coaching, and sharing research best practices with partners across the Workday readiness team
· Dive deep in both qualitative and quantitative data to bring forward new insights that generate content innovations.
· Employ the best research method(s) based on research questions, timeline and resourcing.
· Identify and prioritize research questions based on analysis of existing content designs, business needs, project goals, and risks.
· Uncover insightful and actionable research results that drive tactical and strategic content decisions.
· Deliver impact, as measured by changes to the content design and development roadmap.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Working knowledge of the design process, including experience with design specs
· Ability to manage multiple projects at once
· Demonstrated problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and focus on quality
· Positive energy and leadership capabilities, as well as a willingness to work outside of a typical content role to deliver holistic solutions to customer problems
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 3+ years experience as a UX writer or similar role with a UX or product design team
· A portfolio of relevant work samples with a UX focus; including problems you helped solve for, your contributions, and impact to the customer
· Ability to craft impactful communications across a spectrum of styles and genres
· Ability to break down complex topics into concise customer-friendly content
· Experience working directly with designers, product managers, researchers, and other subject matter experts
· Experience working cross-team and synthesizing feedback and input from multiple stakeholders
· Bachelor’s degree of equivalent experience in English, Journalism, Marketing/Communications, or related field
