We're looking for outstanding Engineers who combines superb technical, research and analytical capabilities with a demonstrated ability to get complex hardware, , embedded, mobile and mission-critical systems up and running quickly and effectively. This person must be comfortable working with a team of top-notch , hardware and applied science Engineers .

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience with hardware/software integration and real time mission-critical systems that have been successfully delivered to customers at scale.
· Knowledge of engineering practices & patterns for the full software/hardware development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and certification.
· Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through actual launch and SLA-driven operations of the project.
· Experience in communicating with customers, technical, regulatory, business teams and management to collect requirements, describe product features, and technical designs.

Desired profile



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Strong Mathematical/Statistical and applied physics fundamentals.
· Proficiency in, at least, one modern programming language such as C, C++, Matlab, C# or Java.
· Experience applying machine-learning and scale-out approaches to complex problems.
· Experience with Optimization and planning, Flight controls, Control algorithms (feed-forward, feed-back), Aerodynamic modeling
· 5+ years relevant experience as a Research Scientist, Research Assistant, Applied Scientist, Software Engineer, or a related occupation
· Masters, PhD, or advanced degree equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aeronautics, Robotics or related field.
