The AWS Sales & Marketing team is seeking a talented, customer focused Full Life Cycle Recruiter, with a passion for delighting the client and candidate, to join our global recruiting organization. The person in this role is responsible for the full life cycle recruiting, screening and hiring for a variety of sales and marketing roles across Canada. The role guides leaders through the intake/planning meeting and the entirety of the talent acquisition process. The role is also responsible for screening candidates who've applied to active postings and ensuring that candidates who are passed on to interviewing teams meet the hiring standards of the hiring manager, the department and the AWS organization.

To be great in this role, the candidate must be able to successfully manage, prioritize and execute on searches against a timeline and have experience setting benchmarks, metrics, and understand how to prioritize to hit all customer SLAs. The best candidates will draw on extensive knowledge of Talent Acquisition and functional areas of the business, forging dynamic relationships with business leaders, hiring managers and HR business partners. They have a reputation for being exceptional at candidate generation, research and organization, possess strong verbal and written communication skills, have an ability to prioritize their time, demonstrate pushback and a sense of urgency, and understand the value of providing amazing customer service.

Core Responsibilities:
· Evaluating quality of posting and advertising activities; works as needed with Recruitment Marketing to ensure high quality top of funnel candidate flow.
· Conducting effective screening activities so that hiring managers / interview teams are presented with the most qualified and appropriately vetted candidates.
· Managing the candidate experience to ensure candidates are engaged and informed throughout the hiring process.
· Providing subject matter expertise, proactive communication and rapid response to key stakeholders (e.g., hiring managers, HR partners, etc.) to demonstrate credibility, build influence and ensure the delivery of high-quality talent in a timely way.
· Making full and creative use of a wide range of resources including programs such as referrals and military hiring, and various sources of hires such as ‘recycled' candidates, rehires, etc.
· Leveraging tools and technologies that drive efficiency in the hiring process.
· Identifying and acting upon opportunities for driving continuous improvement throughout the hiring process.
· Following established talent acquisition processes and use of technologies (ATS, etc.) to ensure data accuracy and process compliance.
· Accountable for key metrics related to hiring effectiveness such as quality of hire over time, source effectiveness, throughput, candidate drop-out rates, etc.

Desired profile



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of full cycle recruiting experience
• 3+ years of corporate and or search firm progressive experience including passive candidate generation and full life cycle recruiting
• Must have experience with building and utilizing a variety of sourcing plans and tools
• Bachelor's degree
