Amazon Logistics is looking to hire an experienced, innovative, hands-on, and customer-obsessed Operational Trainer to play a critical role in improving safety, productivity and the overall customer experience. The L&D team is responsible for supporting change within the sites and for ensuring that all Associates have the appropriate skills. The team is also responsible for inductions, cross training, skills assessment and H&S training.

As a Operational Trainer, you will play a critical role in supporting ATS Transportation and Sortation functions with all training requirements and will report directly to the Learning and Development Manager. Operational trainers help with the ongoing learning and refresher training for employees, enabling them to fulfill their potential within their organization. Our operational trainers are proactive rather than reactive, assessing the skills and knowledge within our organization and determining what training is needed to insure operational best practice and delivering it, providing clear return on investment.

Your responsibilities:

The ideal candidate requires operational training experience gained within a multi-site operation, ideally within a transportation, warehouse environment or a similar international fast paced customer driven environment as you will be responsible for:

· Identifying training and development needs within an organization through concession analysis and regular consultation with the Ops Teams
· Designing training and development programs based on the organizational needs
· Working within the L&D team to produce new materials for in-house courses
· Monitoring and reviewing progress of learner through questionnaires and discussions with managers
· Ensuring statutory training requirements are met
· Being flexible and able to adjust training techniques according to individual learning abilities
· Act as an ambassadors for Amazon Core Values
· Ensure training records are kept up to date

· Experience using all MS packages, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Basic qualifications:
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages such a Word, Excel and PowerPoint,
· Strong Interpersonal skills - develops and maintains good working relationships with internal customers, treating others with respect, building trust and rapport,
· Instructor certificate (DSA,RTITB or similar),
· CIDP (Certificate in Learning & Development),
· NVQ in Learning and Development,
