Title: Legal Counsel III

Worksite: Seattle, WA

Position Responsibilities:

Provide legal advice on Canadian regulatory issues including product compliance and consumer protection. Research and advise on legal issues under Canadian law involving new product and service offerings. Advise on and resolve pre-litigation disputes and inquiries. Draft and negotiate commercial contracts. Work cross-functionally with other legal teams. Manage a team of three professional employees. May require travel 5-10% of the time.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Position Requirements:

Juris Doctorate or equivalent and at least two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Two years of experience in the position offered or related occupation must involve: legal experience in transactional and product counseling work at a technology company; provision of legal advice and guidance in connection with litigation, regulatory, product, and transactional matters; experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts; experience with compliance issues; and experience managing a team of professional employees. Must possess a license to practice law in the U.S. and/or Canada. May require travel 5-10% of the time.
