DESCRIPTION

World Wide Public Sector (WWPS) Sales Enablement is looking for an experienced Partner Team Enablement Lead who is great fun to work with because at Amazon Web Services, we have a credo of “Work hard. Make history.” We are looking for an energetic, collaborative, and dynamic individual to take ownership of the internal Public Sector Partner Team training & enablement programs and provide high impact tools and resources to help partner teams think bigger and deliver results!
The WWPS Partner Enablement Lead will have a passion for creating structured, timely and relevant content to create consistent learning opportunities. The ideal person will work closely with various stakeholders in AWS to develop offerings that ensure the organization is well-equipped with the resources, training, and knowledge to accelerate the partner business. These offerings may include new programs, playbooks, resources/job aids, training content, or learning paths; these may be shared through electronic distribution or delivered via virtual or live classroom settings.

In collaboration with leaders, sellers, subject matter experts, and other trainers in AWS, this individual must own the lifecycle of the enablement programs they design. This entails strategy/planning, development, communication and awareness, facilitation, ongoing maintenance, and measurement. To ensure the programs are aligned to WWPS business priorities and needs, strong relationship management with the content contributors/subject matter experts (as well as the target audience) will be critical for the success of this role.

In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
· PROGRAM MANAGEMENT: Design and develop internal partner team enablement programs, specifically new hire trainings, i.e. “Partner Team New Hire Kickstart,” in partnership with SMEs across the organization; collaborate with various global teams (Partner and Training teams) to scale AWS training to the public sector partner teams globally through ‘Train the Trainer' approach
· CONTENT CREATION & MANAGEMENT: Create, execute, and manage global public sector onboarding content for partner team new hires; curate and build training content to support partner teams continuous learning journey beyond onboarding
· PARTNER TEAM CONSORTIUM: Establish, maintain and drive assigned committee of global partner team stakeholders as a mechanism for compliance, guidance and resource prioritization for partner role objectives and KPIs. Leverage partner committee input to continuously conduct needs assessments and develop timely and relevant training programs accordingly
· TRAINING & CERTIFICATION LIAISON: Liaise across T&C team to ensure WWPS point of view is incorporated as part of training roadmap and resourcing.
· CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION: Ensure collaboration cross-functionally across both WWPS sales teams and partner teams to foster alignment in learning journey. Strive for alignment with Commercial Partner training and enablement teams.
· ENABLEMENT COMPLIANCE: Own high level approach, strategy, and communication regarding mandated enablement activities inclusive of partner teams.
· RESOURCE MANAGEMENT: Create, develop, and centralize training resources through communication vehicles such as newsletters, live events, and/or internal websites to support partner team awareness and education
· AD HOC: Support ad hoc enablement projects as needed
· 20-30% travel to include international locations

Desired profile



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 8+ years of experience in a sales or sales support/enablement role
· 4+ years program management skills to develop and execute large-scale projects with minimal supervision
· 3+ years of experience delivering to diverse audiences; strong presentation skills
· BS/BA Degree or equivalent experience
