We need someone to design and develop global multi-language web applications that facilitate brand protection. Our ideal candidate will be a a customer oriented front-end engineer. This person needs to love building software, be self-directed, knows how to get things done, can lead teams, and is not afraid to take on big challenges. Individuals interested in this position should have practical experience in building high-performance, reliable systems in a complex, multi-tiered, distributed environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Demonstrated UI implementation experience, and with a portfolio of work that demonstrates detailed attention to typography, color, imagery, motion, and graphic elements
· Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
· Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through actual launch of the project
· Experience in communicating with users, UX team, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs
· Experience mentoring junior software engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers
· Experience influencing software engineers best practices within your team

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field with 3+ years of experience
· Experience in front end development such as JavaScript, CSS3, AngularJS, or ReactJS
· Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design
· Computer Science fundamentals in data structures
· Computer Science fundamentals in algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
· Proficiency in, at least, one modern programming language such as C, C++, Java, or Perl
