Amazon Web Services (AWS) provides developers and their organizations with foundational web services and products that enable them to innovate faster and to operate their software more cost effectively. AWS Identity teams are building secure identity, authentication, authorization, and governance systems for the AWS Cloud. Our products provide the core authentication and authorization technologies used to access all AWS services (such as Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, and Amazon DynamoDB) and help customers meet their individual security requirements. The mission of our User Experience team is to create extraordinary web-based experiences that empower experienced developers to have fine-grained control over their environments and security, while being simple enough for less-technical users to ensure they are protecting their data and systems utilizing best-practices.

As a Frontend Engineer, you will help us build next generation, responsive Single Page Applications (SPAs) with bleeding edge front-end technologies, such as React, TypeScript, and SASS, on top of cutting edge serverless stacks using AWS Lambda. You'll work closely with customers, engineers, designers, and product managers from conception through delivery on world class applications.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Excellent web applications design and development experience
· 1+ years of experience in a software or web development role
· Experience in XHTML, Javascript, CSS and modern web technologies
· Experience developing with MVC/MVM frameworks (e.g. AngularJS, React)
· Understanding of best testing practices
· Passion for Operational Excellence
· Excellent written and verbal communication in English
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Informatics or equivalent experience
