The North America Consumables Private Brands organization seeks a Financial Analyst II to support the scaling of our high-growth Private Brands businesses. This is a high exposure opportunity that requires strong financial leadership and partnership with multiple business teams. The Financial Analyst will own all aspects of developing and reviewing metrics with business leadership as well as financial planning, reporting and ad hoc analyses.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter with strong business partnership experience and proven abilities to manage complex projects and effectively dive deep into the details when needed. This person will partner with leaders across several teams including operations, retail category leaders, third party merchant managers, merchandising and marketing teams to provide accurate business metrics, financial reports, and business insights. This candidate will also seek ways to automate and optimize current reporting to continually drive efficiency and time savings.

Primary responsibilities:
· Perform financial reporting and financial modeling.
· Manage the long and short term financial planning and analysis effort, forecasting various metrics for financial risks and opportunities.
· Develop ad hoc and new business development analysis and present recommendations to senior management on strategic decisions.
· Leading and/or participating as the key finance stakeholder in cross functional teams.
· Managing the reporting on weekly financial and operational performance metrics.
· Driving growth and profitability improvements through financial analysis to identify key opportunities.
· Driving strategic projects for senior management with financial modeling, data mining and presentation support.
· Perform root cause analysis and uncovering core issues using data, then assisting the Consumables Private Brands Business Team improve and create new measures for financial performance.
· Work with data source providers and technology teams to ensure that key decision data is accurate, automated and timely.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Strong financial modeling & analytical skills, with demonstrated ability to build and manage financial models for business forecasting, variance analysis, and problem solving.
· Highly analytical, detail oriented and strong business sense; proven ability to develop new ideas, creative solutions and demonstrated experience implementing such mechanisms to result.
· Advanced knowledge of Excel and SQL.
· Superior attention to detail.
· Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and dealing with ambiguity.
· Ability to meet tight deadlines, prioritize workload and achieve effective results in a fast-paced, dynamic and often ambiguous environment; demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities is vital.
· Comfortable with large volumes of complex data and presenting findings to senior management.
· Persuasive verbal & written communication skills.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, and Computer Science) or equivalent and a minimum 3 years of experience in finance or a related analytical field.
