DESCRIPTION

Amazon is seeking an bright and motivated Administrative Professional with a history of high performance to support our Vice-President, Amazon Studios, based at our Studios in Culver City, California. This role will support the effectiveness and efficiency, both internally and externally, of the Studios VP, and ensure smart business planning and coordination across the global Studios team.

This role requires outstanding skills in planning, time management and organization, superior attention to detail, an ability to meet tight deadlines and juggle multiple internal and external requests in a calm, friendly and efficient way. The successful candidate will be trusted to handle confidential and sensitive information, and be able to work professionally with senior business executives and their teams, and various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have experience: working well in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment, managing ever-shifting calendar scheduling; planning and organizing internal and external events; and coordinating complex travel and visa requirements.

A good sense of humor is critical, as is the ability to continually prioritize and change direction at a moment’s notice. The successful candidate will possess the ability to complete complex tasks and projects quickly with little to no guidance, be very strong in anticipating the business needs of the VP, and react with appropriate urgency and action to unanticipated developments or situations.

Responsibilities for this position include:
· Proactively coordinate and engage with leadership in planning and organizing events, activities and calendars
· Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on outstanding items
· Drive key team activities (such as staff meeting agendas, all-hands meetings, supply ordering)
· Manage group logistics
· Have fun at work and help others do the same
· Partner with other assistants throughout the team and across the rest of the company

· Expertise with Microsoft Outlook
· Creative problem solver
· Demonstrated ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments while maintaining a commitment to deadlines and long term goals Desire and aptitude for learning new concepts on the job
· Developed written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
· Ability to work in a highly ambiguous environment

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 5+ years of experience assisting at the executive level
· Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Visio Experience with space management
· Bachelor’s Degree
