Job Description:
Amazon is looking for a motivated and customer-obsessed candidate to lead the EU Go-to-Market (GTM) team within EU Marketing! This exciting position will play a central role in executing customer lifecycle engagement campaigns and will be responsible for leading the marketing vision, including, conceptualizing, executing and continually improving end-to-end lifecycle marketing campaigns while working with partner teams inside Amazon to identify content testing tech solutions, build new placements/features suited to engagement actions and leverage external data sources to support new cross-channel targeting options.

You and your team will be responsible for delivering best-in-class merchandising campaigns, optimizing for customer experience and engagement, while finding and driving efficiencies and process improvements. You will drive the continual testing of placements to improve the customer experience, and be responsible for sharing and acting on learnings to drive automation and improve machine-learning algorithms. As a passionate marketer, you will work with automated channel teams on best-practice campaign execution, define rules and guidelines, which raise the bar for lifecycle engagement content, and be the authoritative voice of the customer on all go-to-market engagement campaigns.

The role can be based in either of the following locations: London, Paris, Munich, Madrid or Milan.

Key Responsibilities:
· Create a new team in charge of developing, implementing, tracking and optimizing non-category marketing campaigns both onsite and within automated marketing channels.
· Deliver customer growth through new customer acquisition and existing customer engagement.
· Organize the team charter including defining team tenets and objectives.
· Build a test and learn framework across marketing channels.
· Partner with product, platform and channel owners to influence their roadmaps to include features which complement and support delivery, automation and scale of go-to-market plans.
· Liaise closely with the tech and BI teams to secure deliverables related to content testing tools and targeting capabilities.
· Work with EU customer lifecycle teams to define go-to-market campaigns related to customer engagement.
· Deliver results (managing project execution, testing ideas, creating campaigns, analysing data, solving problems).
· Use data to develop a strong understanding of Amazon customer behavior and lifecycle and develop initiatives to improve customer engagement.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred qualifications
· 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
· Ability to quickly learn a varied set of software and tools.
· Knowledge of SQL and data presentation skills.
· Regional or multi-country experience preferred.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Basic qualifications
· Natural leadership skills with the experience and seniority to train a high performing team.
· 7+ years of experience in digital marketing, brand management or product management.
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Communication.
· Demonstrated ability to coordinate projects across functional teams, including product management, marketing and merchandising teams.
· Familiarity with A/B testing methods / 6+ months experience creating campaigns in Content Symphony and using other Amazon-owned marketing tools.
· High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
· Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
· Strong analytic and quantitative skills - ability to use data to develop and measure marketing programs.
· Excellent communication (verbal and written in English, knowledge of extra German or Spanish is a plus).
· Experience with customer segmentation, profiling and targeting and a track-record of using learned insights to make recommendations.
· Self-starter with a proven record of learning new tools and achieving results independently and autonomously within ambiguous situations.
