A.Accountabilities

·  The job holder is responsible for developing aircraft retrofit design in avionics and airframe (incl. hydraulic) systems;
·  The job holder is responsible for specific design integration of the technical definition created by the Design Manager.
·  The job holder is responsible for the technical expertise of SB content and configuration (impacted fleet, kit definition, man-hours computation…);
·  The job holder is responsible for launching and managing Service Bulletin authoring productions;
·  The job holder is responsible on quality assurance and on time availability of Service Bulletin draft and contributes to overall improvement;

B.Main activities

·  Performing the technical analysis of the modification file coming from the design office (configurations, drawings, materials and certification dossier) for service bulletin authoring;
·  Prepares elements required for SB authoring phase, including aircraft drawings and certification dossier;
·  Define Service Bulletin illustrations and list of component (manage suppliers as applicable);
·  Follows up project plan and interfaces with upgrade production and stakeholders;
·  Provides remote or on-site assistance during working parties and answer customer queries.

C.Outputs

·  Service bulletins and relevant list of components
·  Service bulletin configuration analysis and technical dossier (including design drawings)
·  Lessons learned regarding service bulletin preparation and authoring
·  Technical query answer to the airline operator regarding upgrade service bulletin
·  Onsite support during SB embodied.

D.Skills

·  Knowledge of aeronautical/mechanical/avionics engineering;
·  Knowledge on aircraft design or system installation principles;
·  Knowledge of aircraft configuration management rule;
·  Proficiency in spoken and written English;
·  Able to work in a multicultural and international environment;
·  Experience of working in aviation industry (e.g. OEM or design office) is a strong plus.
