JOB DEFINITION: UK LOGISTIC MANAGER

AREA / DEPARTMENT: INDUSTRIAL / LOGISTIC

FUNDAMENTAL OBJECTIVES:

Responsible for production planning, purchasing and warehouse management

FUNCTIONS AND TASKS:

� Production planning. Daily order planning and machine update.

� Stock control and purchasing needs analysis. Issuance and receipt of purchase orders.

� Short, medium and long-term purchase forecasts

� Warehouse management: Inventories and stock control. Maintaining Order-Cleaning

� Daily expeditions: cargo planning and transport contracting and issuance of cargo documents

DIRECT DEPENDENCE OF:

HEAD OF GROUP LOGISTIC

REQUIRED TRAINING:

Middle Grade / Higher Grade

SPECIFIC AND GENERAL SKILLS:

� Ability to work and a good attitude for teamwork.

� Analytical and proactive, with own initiative to solve problems.

� Serious, responsible person and eager to work and learn.

� Dynamic, with good communication skills

� Orderly and methodical

� Providing minimum experience of 3-5 years in warehouse logistics, inventory control and production and material planning, as well as in the management of purchase orders from suppliers.

� Used to working with Lean Manufacturing, MRP or similar tools

� Computer skills: Office in general and experience with the use of ERP-type management programs and VMS or SGA-type material planning programs

� Medium-high level of Spanish preferred, but not essential
