Position: Technical Officer - Traffic Orders

Location: Bromley

Duration: 3 Months +

Rate: Between £15.69 - £20.31 Hourly

Our client based in Bromley is looking for an experienced Traffic Order Officer, to carry out all necessary procedures involved in the marking of Traffic Management Orders,

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

·  Responsible for all stages of drafting and making experimental and permanent Traffic Orders.

·  Ensure compliance with agreed procedure regulations and monitoring the process of all correspondence.

·  Prepare traffic orders from scaled drawings.

·  Advertising of TMOs in local press

·  Communicate and demonstrate TMO processes to other members of staff.

·  Responsible for updating Traffic Orders and keeping abreast of legislative changes relating to traffic and highways law.

Essential Experience and Qualifications:

·  HNC/BTEC or equivalent in civil engineering that includes traffic-engineering subjects.

·  Experience in using PARKMAP and Statmap Earthlight
