Job Title
Trade Sales Co-Ordinator
Job Overview
Maintaining and building relationships with current and potential client/agent base in order to maximize sales opportunities and volumes for the Trade Sales department and company Group.
Responsibilities and Duties
· Accurately quoting clients/agents on potential and existing business.
· Ensuring all clients and agents are managed with high level of care and consideration in a timely manner
· Following up on all warm / cold sales leads when they become available via our global partner network and own research.
· Meeting face to face with clients/agents in order to maintain and build relationships and to offer solution-based approach when necessary.
· Working very closely with other departments within the company in order to improve efficiency for benefit of clients/agents.
· Identifying ways which day to day handling of existing accounts can be improved by ''thinking outside the box''
· Making sure all aspects of admin are up to date in a timely manner, so the BOD's have constant access to live data
· Sending monthly reports to Head of Trade sales to show won/loss ratio on quoting opportunities
· Researching market data to identify commodity trends and market verticals in order to exploit new opportunities
· Being flexible and willing to work outside of normal hours.
Qualifications
· Minimum of 3 years sales & shipping experience which includes strong knowledge of all aspects of shipping which includes FCL/LCL/REEFER/OOG operations.
· Strong spoken and written communication skills, hard-working, attention to detail, pro-active, flexible, confident, ambitious, self-motivated and organised.
· Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
· Full UK driving license.
