Adecco Poole and Bournemouth are delighted to be assisting one of our local clients in their search for a Portfolio Communications Officer.

This role is a 6-month contract.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for taking the lead officer responsibility for the research, design and implementation of engagement, marketing and public relations initiatives and campaigns.

Responsibilities

·  To identify internal and external opportunities to generate positive publicity for Force operations performance and initiatives

·  Produce corporate literature / direct marketing / PR products aimed at the public, other stakeholders and partners

·  Assist in the production of digital media products

·  Support annual Events Management Strategy to enhance public engagement

·  Generate positive relations with key partners, external stakeholders, and employees through initiative and creative thinking

·  Advise and influence colleagues and partners on the best communication approach for planned issues

·  Support and monitor social media accounts

The Ideal Candidate

·  Formal qualification in communications (CIRP, CIM)

·  Proven track record of implementing PR and marketing strategies

·  Ability to identify, map and manage a large number if stakeholders simultaneously

·  Experience of managing multi-agency issue specific communication and engagement strategies

·  Proven research and evaluation skills

·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Rate

£15.56 p/h
