JOB TITLE: Pensions Fund Accountant
LOCATION: Tower Hamlets, London
START DATE: ASAP
DURATION: 3 months
PAY RATE: £232.04 per day (Umbrella)
IR35 STATUS: Inside

The Local Authority is looking for a Pension Fund Accountant to help with closing the of Pension Fund accounts

Please note you MUST have experience of closing LGPS Pension Fund accounts previously in order to be considered.

Tasks will be
1. Assist with closing the pension fund accounts
2. Prepare pension fund notes and journals
3. Prepare manager and custodian reconciliations
4. Pension fund bank reconciliations
5. Various pension fund reconciliations
6. Knowledge of LGPS regulations
7. Knowledge of IAS19 and IAS26
8. Experience of using Agresso financial systems
9. Experience of using custodian systems

Qualifications required: CIPFA or any CAB Qualification
