Role Description:
The Controllership team is responsible for the accounting and controls supporting the company rapidly growing business in EMEA. This role is focused on managing the accounting processes , ensuring financial accuracy for EMEA's results, and supporting the expansion of our products and infrastructure in EMEA, partnering closely with the Business Finance team in Sunnyvale.

Responsibilities will include:

Manage and maintain accountability for the accuracy, timeliness and efficiency of accounting processes related to EMEA's results including performing analyses and financial reporting during month-end close.
Regional Controllership support for our products launches in EMEA, supporting the expansion of the business in partnership with the global Business Finance team.
Identifying and mitigating regional risks and creating or optimising controls.
Develop in-depth knowledge of tools and applications utilised in accounting processes and highlight opportunities for improvement, managing projects that will yield efficiency through automation, optimisation and outsourcing.
Design, develop and perform other periodic analyses and presentations including compilation of reporting for management and other ad-hoc business updates.
Represent Accounting and Finance with our business partners through effective communication with Sales Finance, Tax, Treasury, Statutory Compliance, and Sales teams.

Mandatory skills/experience/education

You must meet these minimum qualifications to apply for this job BA/BS degree in Finance, Business or quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
Professional qualification: CIMA/ACA/ACCA 4+ years of relevant work experience

Desired skills/experience/education

Having as many of these specific qualifications is a plus, but transferable skills/experiences may be equally valuable
Industry and MNC experience.
Project management experience.
A solid understanding of accounting principles, including US GAAP and related international accounting standards.
Technical accounting or Tax Compliance experience.
Collaborative style and ability to work with cross functional and international teams.
Knowledge of Oracle or similar ERP system.
