A leading, well-established engineering company based on the outskirts of Colchester due to progression are seeking an experienced CAD Draughtsperson.

The successful applicant will be required to produce a portfolio/examples of previous works at interview stage.

A sense of humour, accuracy, conscientious and want to take pride in own work is essential.

·  Experience within 2D or 3D CAD design software (Solid works is advantageous)

·  Be able to breakdown components and reassemble drawings

·  Produce drawings with accuracy and attention to detail

·  Working on bespoke projects

·  Working closely with clients, project manager and the technical sales team.

·  Liaise and discuss finished drawings with the production team daily.

·  Project work with tight deadlines

·  Order materials for the production area when needed.

·  Keep technical knowledge up to date.

Monday to Friday - 8am- 5pm.

£23,000- £28,000 dependant on knowledge and skill.
