Key tasks

Overview of role:
The Trading Analyst will be supporting the Senior Trading Analyst's day-to-day responsibilities and work very closely with fellow colleagues within Business Intelligence and Revenue Management. The main purpose of the role is to produce a consolidated view of our hotels’ main KPIS and provide Revenue Managers and our Senior Management with relevant data and analysis to monitor and drive business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Take ownership of the maintenance of a set of existing dashboards on Power BI (data system), liaising with our service providers and internal colleagues to ensure data is complete, up-to-date and accurate. Troubleshoot any issues, contribute to further enhancements in our reporting or design new reports to meet evolving needs.
2. Produce ad-hoc analysis on key trends and answer top-line related questions from Senior Management
3. Support the production of monthly business review presentations for our hotels and partners
4. Conduct in-depth analysis on specific topics (such as channel management, forecast accuracy, etc…) providing actionable insights and recommendations
5. Provide analytical support to the Revenue Management team on specific projects. Train and coach revenue managers on how to use data and tools provided by Business Intelligence
6. Perform regular and random check controls to ensure data accuracy and completeness of our reports
