Key tasks

The Reservations Agent is responsible for handling all aspects of individual bookings and to communicate all necessary information to other departments to ensure that guest requirements are fulfilled.

In line with the procedures, standard call format and communication methods determined by the Call centre, you answer and handle incoming calls using the tools available to you: Phone, computer - centralized electronic reservations system TARS-, Sales scripts, Sales information, Individual target documents.

• To ensure that the handling of all aspects of individual reservations is handled efficiently and promptly.
• To work as part of a team to ensure all individual reservations are inputted accurately and concisely into the PMS, in accordance with company rules and procedures.
• To ensure that you are fully aware and conversant with the Signature program.
• To efficiently answer all calls inquiring about individual reservations at all times and help others in the department as and when necessary.
• To handle all telephone calls in a friendly and professional manner, seeking assistance with queries as required.
• To ensure that all relevant details are passed on to appropriate departments involved in stay.
• Ensure a consistently high level of quality and service is provided at all time by following all procedures put in place.
• To have sufficient knowledge of individual procedures and booking handling to deal with any inquiry as necessary.
• To perform any other reasonable task as set by the Reservations Manager.
