Summary of Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor, responsibilities include but are not limited to: 
·  Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
·  Maintain the cleanliness of the hotel’s public areas, including washrooms
·  Stocking of all public area closets and proactive communication regarding stock levels
·  Report all maintenance concerns to the Housekeeping Supervisor
·  Ensure furniture is in good repair and in the proper location
·  Cleaning of Food & Beverage outlets
·  Collecting, washing and restocking of Housekeeping glassware
·  Comply with all department policies, procedures, and service standards
·  Follow and proactively promote all health and safety policies and initiatives
·  Other reasonable duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

· 
Previous experience in a similar environment will be an asset

· 
Must possess outstanding guest service skills, including professional verbal communication skills

· 
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities

· 
Highly responsible and reliable, demonstrating initiative as required

· 
Proven ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, team-based environment

· 
Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including:

·  Constant standing and walking throughout shift
·  Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
·  Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
