Key tasks

Overview of duties
• To execute and supervise the day to day smooth operation of all systems and plants and to response to all daily work requests from various operating departments and guests.

Main responsibilities
MAIN DUTIES:
• To ensure the correct, efficient and timely operation and maintenance of all M&E services. To provide technical support and to lead and supervise in fault diagnosis and trouble shooting.

Training and Human Resources

• To provide supervision and guidance and on the job training to associates and to follow up on work progress to ensure that it is properly carried out and completed on time schedule with acceptable quality. Constantly review & inspect completed works (preventive and work request) for any deficiencies that need to be follow up for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure wherever possible that ambassadors are provided with a work place free of discrimination, harassment and victimization.
• Treat complaints of harassment and discrimination promptly and confidentially.
• Treat customers and colleagues from all cultural groups with respect and sensitivity.
• Identify and deal with issues which may cause cross cultural conflict or misunderstanding.

Profile
Education / Professional experience
Skills / Qualities
• preferably with good all round technical knowledge and skills for M&E systems
• Holder of electrical operating license, preferably 10KV high tension
• Diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent
• Min. 5 years experience in hotel engineering operation in similar capacity, preferably with
international hotel chain
• preferably with ability to communicate in both oral and written English.
